Brody Harrington secures Lancers’ comeback win: ‘I’ve never beat Westfield’

WESTFIELD – With fewer than 11 minutes remaining in regulation between No. 8 Longmeadow football and No. 4 Westfield on Friday night, the Bombers had maintained a one-score lead and were on the verge of increasing that margin.

But the Lancers said otherwise, as Brady Stocks earned a fumble recovery on his team’s 12-yard line to ensure Longmeadow an opportunity to compete during the closing minutes. After back-to-back unsuccessful deep pass attempts, Lancers quarterback Brody Harrington connected on the third attempt for a new set of downs.
