RUSSELL — Some people believe Strathmore Park in Russell is a scary place even during the day. But once a year, it definitely becomes a creepy place at night when the Haunted Strathmore Halloween celebration transforms it into a “cursed” park.
For the fourth year, the Russell Police Association is sponsoring the Haunted Strathmore event. Kevin Hennessey, the Russell-Montgomery chief of police, said it is the Hilltowns’ “biggest” and “best” Halloween celebration.
