CHICOPEE – The Chicopee Housing Authority will pay $460,000 in damages and fines, must not employ its former executive director and make multiple units handicap accessible under a court settlement over federal discrimination complaints.

Authority officials entered into a consent order with the U.S. Attorney’s office, settling bias complaints filed in 2021 against the agency and its executive director, Monica Blazic.
