Paradise City Arts Festival marks 30 years with Columbus Day weekend run

The folks at Paradise City Arts Festival have persevered and are now celebrating their 30th anniversary during Columbus Day weekend on the grounds of the Three County Fair, where over the years, they have survived the remnants of a hurricane that left muddy and soaked filled fields behind, and a super cell storm that sent tents solidly anchored into the ground up into the air.

Still, the show went on despite these challenges, and continues today with nearly 220 of America’s finest artists and craftmakers from 20 states traveling to Northampton to participate in the three-day extravaganza, which begins this year on Saturday, Oct. 12. Crafters will be selling their original works in ceramics, painting, decorative fiber, art glass, furniture, jewelry, metal, mixed media, photography, sculpture, wearable art and woodworking.
