The Topsfield Fair begins Friday afternoon, and attendees can expect the weather to largely cooperate to provide a warm and dry weekend.
There is a chance for some spot showers in the evening on Friday, but only roughly 30%, according to the National Weather Service. In Topsfield, forecasters predict less than a tenth of an inch of accumulation. Friday’s high is 73 degrees, and it should be around 70 degrees by the time the fair opens at 4 p.m.
Saturday looks to be the pick of the weekend, with a chance for showers before 9 a.m. giving way to sunshine and a high of 72 degrees — a classic fall day. New precipitation should remain below a tenth of an inch, forecasters say.
Forecasters wrote Saturday’s temperatures and clear skies will “make for a great fall evening for outdoor activities!”
It will be slightly cooler on Sunday, but still sunny with a high near 66. There is no rain in the forecast on Sunday.
