Red Sox’ Trevor Story changes ripped pants after ‘fun’ way to grind out run

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Trevor Story’s 396-foot solo homer tied it 1-1 in the sixth inning but the real fun came in the eighth inning when he manufactured the go-ahead run.

Story led off with an infield single, then stole both second and third base. He scored on Jarren Duran’s RBI single. The Red Sox won 2-1 over the Rays here at Tropicana Field on Wednesday.
