WESTFIELD — Student-athletes at Westfield Technical Academy will be among the first to compete in what may end up as Massachusetts’ next high school varsity sport.
Kyle Dulude, athletic coordinator at Westfield Tech, told the city Parks and Recreation Committee on Monday that the Tigers are among four high school sports programs in Western Massachusetts participating in a pickleball pilot program for the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association.
