SOUTHWICK — When the Police and Fire departments suit up for their second annual softball game to raise money for the Jimmy Fund on Sept. 21, the firefighters and paramedics will be looking to avenge their one-run loss in last year’s game to against the police officers.
“Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then,” said Brian Schneider, the Fire Department’s fire prevention officer about the last inning go-ahead run the police officers scored for the win.
