NORTHAMPTON — Northampton field hockey squeaked a 2-0 win over Mahar on Thursday, marking its first win of the season.
After a scoreless first half, the Blue Devils found themselves on the board in the third quarter at the 6:49 mark. Maya Berman-Lagier dribbled down the field and yelled for Camilla Brewer to get near the post. Stood at the post, Brewer tapped in the ball and made it a 1-0 game.
