Three Democrats are vying for the seat currently held by Democratic state Rep. William Driscoll, who’s running for the Norfolk/Bristol/Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Walter Timility III.
Timilty, of Milton, is running for clerk of courts in Norfolk County, MassLive previously reported.
The candidates are Christos Alexopoulos, Tony King, and Richard Wells Jr.
Alexopoulos is a town councilor in Randolph, according to his LinkedIn page. He’s held the post since 2018. He currently works as a police officer at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, serving as a field training officer. He bills himself as a “dedicated public servant taking a 21st Century approach, and implementing effective change to better our communities.”
King, of Milton, is a former professional in-line hockey player, who founded Beantown USA, a union print shop. He describes himself as a “proud investor and partner” in Rolling Relief, a social equity cannabis delivery service.
Wells Jr., has been a member of Milton’s Select Board since 2017, according to his campaign’s website. A former Milton police chief, he has been an instructor for Milton’s Municipal Police Training Committee since 1984.
