West Springfield boys’ soccer started the season on the right foot, winning 1-0 over Belchertown on Tuesday.
The Terriers scored in the first half of the game, and that was all they needed to do to make their way past the Orioles. Gavin Hall was the lone goal scorer for West Springfield, and Izmir Isik assisted with the goal. Goalkeeper Chris Zarelli kept a zero on the board with three net saves against Belchertown.
