Arrest made in fatal stabbing of 45-year-old man in Boston

Boston police have made an arrest in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 45-year-old man in Mattapan earlier this month.

Jordan Albert-Scott, 33, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the death of Daniel Coke, Boston police said on Facebook Saturday.

Coke died on Aug. 4 after a stabbing in the area of 10 Amory Terrace, Boston police said in a statement on Aug. 8.

He was born in Boston on Jan. 2, 1979, to Stanley and Sarah Coke, according to his obituary.

“Daniel Coke leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Diamond Coke, children Amari and Jahdai Coke, his parents Stanley and Sarah Coke, a host of siblings, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly,” his family wrote.

After the incident on Aug. 4, Coke was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he died, police said.

Albert-Scott is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
