A 70-year-old man from Western Massachusetts who died in a motorcycle crash last Saturday is being remembered for his tight-knit ties to his community.
“James Henry Lis will be remembered as a humble man who loved his passions and his family dearly,” his obituary reads. “His memory will forever be cherished by all those who were fortunate enough to know him.”
Lis, of Three Rivers, was headed north on East Street in Hadley around noon on Aug. 24 when his motorcycle collided with a truck heading south as the truck began turning left into a driveway, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
