How to report high school scores to MassLive

Massachusetts is just days away from the rivalries, milestones and excitement of the fall high school sports season.

This year, MassLive has expanded its coverage area to include the Bay State and Catholic Conferences alongside its core schools in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire counties.

One of the things that makes MassLive different is our stats platform, which gives every Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association varsity team and athlete in our coverage area their own page. How do we get that information? From the coaches, athletic directors and team managers.

How to submit scores

After every game between two varsity programs, we ask teams to send results to sports@masslive.com in a timely manner.

Coaches can type out the results into the email, send a PDF of the stats or send a clear photo of the scoresheet for the game as long as it contains all of the necessary information.

MassLive puts together stats leader posts and articles highlighting games each night. We cannot highlight the athletes if scores are not received the same day as a game. While coaches usually send this information to MassLive, a coach may designate a dependable assistant coach or scorekeeper to report the results of the games.

MassLive will not take stats or corrections from players, parents, family or friends. All results must come from the school’s coach or representative.
