Police are searching for a man they say is a person of interest in a double homicide investigation after two women were found dead in a Worcester apartment Saturday afternoon.
Officers responded to the apartment at 1060 Main St. shortly after 1 p.m. on Saturday and found two women with multiple puncture wounds, Worcester police wrote in a Facebook post Sunday morning. The two women were declared dead at the scene.
Worcester resident William Rodriguez, 59, is a person of interest in the case and is wanted by police, police said. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Rodriguez is described as a 6-foot-2 Hispanic man who is believed to weigh about 180 pounds, police said. He has gray hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion. His last known address is 40 Belmont St. in Worcester, and he sometimes wears glasses.
