Former Stoughton selectman remembered for ‘larger-than-life’ impact on town

If a person can ever be called a town staple, former Stoughton Selectman David “Spanky” Sousa was such a person.

Though the 57-year-old MassDOT worker was struck and killed by a car while on the job in West Bridgewater on July 27, his community will remember him as a “larger-than-life character” who was devoted to his family, his job and the town of Stoughton.
