Here’s when to expect the rain to stop in Mass. on Wednesday

Another wet morning is on tap for Massachusetts on Wednesday after intermittent rain soaked the state on Tuesday, though forecasters say a break from the rainfall is expected to arrive in the afternoon.

National Weather Service forecasters say “widespread” light to moderate rain is expected across the Bay State on Wednesday morning. Showers will wrap up between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. Wednesday as dry weather drifts west to east across New England.

In Springfield, rain is expected to fall until about 11 a.m. But in Worcester and Boston, the precipitation is expected to stop around 8 a.m., according to the weather service.
