Olympics schedule, medal count for Tue., Aug. 6 | Men’s basketball, women’s soccer in action

It’s Day 11 of the 2024 Paris Olympics and all eyes will be on the team sports as Team USA men’s basketball and women’s soccer take center stage.

Here’s where things currently stand with today’s Olympics schedule and medal count.

After rolling through group play, the men’s basketball squad will take on Brazil in the quarterfinals. This year’s team is led by the likes of LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum as they look for a fifth straight gold medal.

Meanwhile, the women’s soccer team heads into the semifinals against Germany. After defeating Japan in the quarterfinals, Team USA is just one win away from the gold medal match.
