Olympics schedule, medal count for Tue., July 29 | Simone Biles, Suni Lee go for team gold

It’s Day 4 of the 2024 Paris Olympics, which sees some movement at the top of the leaderboards and France moves to No. 2. Meanwhile, Tuesday’s schedule is a loaded one, with the women’s gymnastics team final as the headliner.

Here’s where things currently stand with today’s Olympics schedule and medal count.

Team France shot up the board, as did Team Japan, who now leads the way in gold medals with six. Team China took a step back, going from No. 2 to No. 4 in the standings.

Just after noon, we’ve got the women’s gymnastics team final. Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera will be in action as Team USA goes for the gold.

Meanwhile, the USMNT is in action against Guinea. The squad will be looking to bounce back from a rough 3-0 to France last time out.

In the pool, we’ll see medal events for the women’s 100-meter backstroke, the men’s 800-meter freestyle final and the men’s 4 x 200m freestyle relay.
