BOSTON — It didn’t qualify as a big name, or even an actual trade, but the Red Sox managed to add to a reliever through a waiver claim Sunday.
The Red Sox claimed journeyman righthander Yohan Ramirez from the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ramirez, 29, will be joining his fourth team this season, having begun the year with the New York Mets. He was them claimed by the Orioles, before returning to the Mets soon after on another waiver claim.
