It’s been just three days since the opening ceremonies, but there are already some medals popping up on the board in Paris. Early on, the United States has the edge in overall medals, but China is leading the way in the number of gold medals.
Here’s the current medal count for the 2024 Paris Olympics:
Monday’s schedule is loaded with medal rounds, with Women’s/Women’s Shooting, Men’s Synchronized Diving, and Equestrian Team Jumping already in the books early this morning.
Later today, medal events will include Men’s Cross-Country Cycling, Equestrian Individual Jumping, Men’s Team Archery, Men’s Street Skateboarding, Men’s Team Archery, Men’s Canoe Slalom, Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Women’s 400m Individual Medley Swimming, Men’s 200m Freestyle Swimming, Women’s Fencing Sabre, Men’s Fencing Foil, Men’s Swimming 100m Backstroke, Women’s Swimming 100m Breaststroke, Women’s Swimming 200m Freestyle, Women’s Fencing Sabre and Men’s Fencing Foil.
