Holyoke – The Hibernians of Hampden/Hampshire Counties invites the public to attend the annual traditional summer picnic featuring Jim O’Connor and the Boston Irish-American Blackthorne Band at Hamel’s Summit View Pavilion, 555 Northampton St. on Sunday, Aug. 25 from 1 to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
Tickets are $35 per person for adults and children ages 16 and up; children ages 5-10 $10; children 10-16 $15.

The Maurice A. Donahue Memorial scholarship will be presented to Kayla Williams of Chicopee.
There will be Irish-American Music, dancing, super BBQ-hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ chicken, baked beans, potato salad, tossed salad, dessert, coffee. Also, included is a cash bar, children’s games and giant raffle.
The event will benefit the Maurice A. Donahue Memorial Scholarship.
