SPRINGFIELD — Michelle Allen’s son, Michael Brauner, is in prison on a sentence of up to 25 years for murder. She feels potentially exculpatory evidence was withheld at his trial.
“I definitely feel he should be out because I feel it was self-defense,” she said. “I was at the trial, and I don’t even understand why he is locked up right now.”
