6 facing murder charges in connection with September drive-by shooting in Mass.

Six people, including a 15-year-old, are each facing two charges of murder in connection with a drive-by shooting in Lynn in September that left two people dead and five others injured, according to Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker’s office.

Justin Alba, 25, of Peabody; and Lynn residents Darwin Batista, 20; Yefferson Vallecillo Cambar, 22; Carlos Ramirez Corniel, 16; Leonardo Espinoza, 15; and Abel Severino Reyes, 21 were all charged in connection with the Sept. 2, 2023 shooting. Alba, Batista, Vallecillo Cambar, and Severino Reyes are also charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and four counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, Tucker’s office said in a statement.

Arraignment dates for all six suspects were not immediately available.
