SPRINGFIELD — U.S. Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., is pledging support to expand a federally funded workforce development program in Springfield that is helping young people ages 16-24 who have left high school and are facing everything from homelessness and mental health issues to single parenthood.
Markey toured YouthBuild in Springfield Wednesday and spoke with graduates of the program in a round-table discussion.
