SOUTHWICK — After Select Board members on Monday reopened the debate on whether to consider a town resident’s application to sell recreational cannabis, he withdrew it the next morning.
“At this time, Holyoke 420 LLC is submitting this email as a withdraw of our application from the process of obtaining a host agreement/opening a cannabis dispensary in the town of Southwick,” wrote Holyoke Cannabis owner James Jaron, who is also a Southwick resident, in the email sent to the board members and The Westfield News.
He proposed opening The Southwick Dispensary, if his bid had been successful, at the former Roma Restaurant on College Highway.
