Two years ago, the future seemed bleak for Marco and Amanda Aranzullo’s proposed cannabis dispensary in Northampton.
The husband-wife team went through all the initial motions required of entrepreneurs hoping to sell legal marijuana: They identified a retail location, began discussions with the city and scheduled a public meeting to hear comments from residents.
