Scattered showers will make for muddy conditions on the fields of the Brimfield Flea Market Thursday morning, but shoppers shouldn’t have to worry about too much rain throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.
Showers in Brimfield are forecasted to stop around 9 a.m., giving way to another day of heat and humidity with a high near 88 degrees on Thursday, according to the weather service.
“A few showers into mid-morning will be followed by plenty of sunshine with hot and somewhat humid weather today,” forecasters wrote.
Shoppers will have to contend with winds around 11mph to 15mph and gusts as high as 25mph on Thursday, but the chance of precipitation is only around 30%, according to the weather service. So while rain boots might be needed for muddy fields Thursday, rain jackets can probably be left behind.
Thursday will likely be the coolest day of the week so far, with temperatures dipping below 90 degrees after exceeding that mark for the first two days of the July show, which began on Tuesday.
The Brimfield Flea Market is open for its July show until July 14.
