Woman killed in crash after hitting deer remembered as ‘a beautiful soul’

A 35-year-old Roxbury woman was about to begin her nursing program when she was hit and killed by a car on Route 3 in Braintree in June.

Magdalena Desrosiers had exited a car she was riding in after it had struck a deer. She went to assess the damage when she was then hit by a car, according to Massachusetts State Police.

At around 3:10 a.m. State Police went to the crash where they found a 63-year-old Roxbury man and Desrosiers. They were both taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
