Citing a “larger than expected flame” that poses a safety risk, grocery retailer Trader Joe’s has recalled a candle product it sold nationwide.
Trader Joe’s mango tangerine scented candle may have an “unexpected burn pattern,” the retailer announced on its website.
“If you purchased the mango tangerine scented candle, please do not use it,” the company said. “We urge you to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.”
According to CBS News, Trader Joe’s did not state how many of the recalled candles were sold or whether there had been any reports of injuries or fires related to the product.
