Thunderstorms and hot weather will continue to impact part of the state on Friday.
Most of the thunderstorms will be in Western and Central Massachusetts with storms possibly having strong to damaging winds and flash flooding, the National Weather Service warned.
Rain could start around 11 a.m. with thunderstorms beginning closer to 1 p.m.
There is also still a heat advisory issued for the Springfield area. It lasts until 7 p.m. Friday.
“Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors,” the weather service wrote.
Dense fog could be an issue in the Berkshires, the weather service warned. Visibility was down to a quarter mile Friday morning.
“Motorists should use low beam lighting, allow extra following distance, and exercise caution if traveling through early this morning,” it stated.
With the Boston Celtics set to celebrate their victory in the NBA Finals in Boston on Friday, the lowest probability for a thunderstorm is in eastern Massachusetts, including Boston, Cape Cod and the Islands.
There is a chance of rain starting at 11 a.m., when the parade is expected to start. However, it isn’t likely, the weather service predicted.
