Berkshire Museum announces need-based Scholarships for Summer Camp Programs

Pittsfield – Berkshire Museum has received a gift from an anonymous donor, set to support need-based scholarships to be offered for their 2024 summer camp season. Known as “CAMPERSHIPS,” these scholarships aim to provide enriching summer experiences for local children who qualify.

Summer camp sessions are week-long, divided by age group, and take place during July and Aug.

Camp offerings include:

Dino Discovery: for ages Pre-K to Kindergarten. July 1 to 5 (with no camp on July 4). Mornings from 9 a.m. to noon.

Pond Camp: for ages Grades 1 to 2, July 8 through 12, mornings, 9 a.m. to noon.

Animal Adventures Camp: for ages Grades 1 to 2, July 8 through 12, afternoons, 1 to 4 p.m.

Over the Rainbow Camp: for ages Grades 1 to 2, July 22 through 26, mornings 9 a.m. to noon.

Junior Engineers Camp: for ages Grades 1 to 2, July 22 through 26, afternoons, 1 to 4 p.m.

Junior Archaeologist Camp: for ages Grades 1 to 2, July 29 through Aug. 2, mornings, 9 a.m. to noon.

Junior Paleontologist: Art & Science Camp: for ages Grades 1 to 2, July 29 through Aug. 2, afternoons, 1 to 4 p.m.

CSI Monster Hunter Camp: for ages Grades 3 to 6, Aug. 5 through 9, mornings 9 a.m. to noon.

Time Traveling Artists Camp: for ages Grades 3 to 6, Aug. 5 through 9, afternoons, 1 to 4 p.m.

Junior Curator Camp: for ages Grades 6 to 8, Aug. 12 through 15, mornings, 9 a.m. to noon.

Manga Camp: for ages Grades 6 to 8, Aug. 12 through 16, afternoons, 1 to 4 p.m.

Game Board Camp: for ages Grades 3 to 6, Aug. 19 through 23, mornings, 9 a.m. to noon.

Animation Camp: for ages Grades 3 to 6, Aug. 19 through 23, afternoons, 1 to 4 p.m.
