As the college graduation season comes to a close, few believe the encampment and protest movements that have spread across college and university campuses related to the Israel-Hamas war will end — and some speculate they may spill into public spaces over the summer.
Kaia Jackson, organizer for Jewish Voice for Peace and representative for the Western Mass. Coalition for Palestine, has been among several people regularly meeting since October at a well-traveled roundabout in Northampton to hold up signs calling for a ceasefire.
