SPRINGFIELD — With her back against the wall and the Western Massachusetts Class A championship on the line, Bailey Downes had to dig deep in order to refocus.
After winning her first set 6-2, Downes dropped the second set 3-6 and quickly trailed 0-3 in the third set.
