Three boys were stabbed after a large group of children got into a physical confrontation at the Andrew MBTA station in Dorchester, according to Transit Police.
The confrontation broke out around 3:51 p.m. on Wednesday and left the three boys with injuries police described as non-life-threatening. All three were taken to hospitals in the area for treatment of their injuries, Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan wrote in an email to MassLive.
Several Transit police officers were at the station and detained “possible subjects” involved in the confrontation, according to Sullivan.
The incident remains under investigation by Transit police. Sullivan declined to comment further.
