For roughly two decades, the city of Cambridge has ticketed bikes locked to disabled parking signs, parking meters, benches and other street infrastructure in violation of local ordinances.
But in recent weeks, the city has fielded a rush of questions on whether it has a new bike ticketing policy.
It doesn’t, according to Kristen Kelleher, the Cambridge Department of Public Works community relations manager.
