Here’s where you can pick your own flowers for a Mother’s Day gift.

Every year, on the second Sunday in May, many Americans spend the day honoring individuals who either gave them life, cared for them or were examples of how to care for and love others.

This year, Mother’s Day falls on May 12.

If you want to celebrate Mom or someone you love with a freshly cut bouquet of flowers, perhaps you could get one that’s as unique and special as she is.

Or maybe, you’d like to take her along so she can choose what she wants. Fortunately for Bay Staters, there are plenty of opportunities to do both.

Across the state, several flower shops, nurseries and farms boast many varieties of flowers in bloom. MassLive put together a list of flower farms for those looking to experience spring in full swing alongside Mom.
