Jury selection is scheduled to begin in Norfolk County Superior Court Tuesday in a highly contentious murder case where a Mansfield woman is accused of hitting her boyfriend in a drunk driving incident during a snowstorm in 2022. The case has drawn immense scrutiny as her supporters believe she’s been framed.
Karen Read, 44, of Mansfield, is charged with murder in the killing of her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O’Keefe, who was found cold to the touch and unresponsive on Jan. 29, 2022, outside of a home in Canton.
