It has been six months since Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking hostages. The resulting war between Israel and Hamas has killed more than 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza.
While the conflict has caused an eruption of antisemitic incidents in the U.S. and globally, Israel’s response to Hamas’ attack in October has also divided many within the Jewish-American community.
