What is Peacock TV and how can I watch college football on it?

Peacock is putting its stamp on college football.

If you haven’t noticed it yet, a handful of games have been streaming on NBC’s Peacock network, including many that have been airing exclusively on the platform. This coming weekend, for example, viewers hoping to tune into Ohio State vs. Purdue on Oct. 14 must do so via the Peacock Network. During the weekend of Oct. 7, it was Purdue-Iowa exclusively on Peacock.

Prices for a Peacock subscription are set at $5.99 or $11.99 per month depending on what package you sign up for. Premium plan is $5.99 and has “80,000+ hours of the best in TV, movies, and sports: New & Hit Shows, Films & Originals, LIVE Sports & Events, Current NBC & Bravo Shows, 50+ Always-On Channels,” according to Peacock.com. Premium Plus is $11.99 and includes “everything you get with Premium, plus: No Ads (Limited Exclusions*), Download & Watch Select Titles Offline, Your Local NBC Channel LIVE, 24/7.”

“In total this fall, NBC Sports will present 31 FBS college football games across NBC and Peacock, including primetime games on 13 consecutive weekends,” its press release stated prior to the season opener in Dublin that pitted Navy vs. Notre Dame.

In addition to the Peacock-exclusive Ohio State-Purdue game on Oct. 14, the Notre Dame-USC rivalry battle will be streaming on Peacock, in addition to NBC.

Below is the schedule of games that were slated to appear on Peacock ahead of the 2023 college football season, in addition to other Peacock exclusive games.

  • Sat., Oct. 28 3:30 p.m. Pittsburgh at Notre Dame
