Congamond Lake group votes against funds for Southwick rope swing tree removal

SOUTHWICK — After a vote of its members, the Citizens Restoring Congamond lake advocacy group has withdrawn its offer to the town to pay for removal of several trees on North Pond that are used for rope swings.

“Unfortunately, the ‘nos’ have it,” Michelle Pratt, CRC’s president, said during the Conservation Commission meeting last week.
