A new episode of “The Voice” is back on NBC Monday night, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. EST.
Season 24 will also be available for streaming on platforms like Peacock and FuboTV. Both platforms offer a free trial for those interested in signing up for a membership.
The new episode of season 24 will continue as coaches John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire and Niall Horan prepare for the first round of the blind auditions.
The blind rounds are when contestants perform a song to the backs of the coaches. During the blind auditions, the decisions from the coaches are based solely on voice and not on looks.
The coaches hear the artists perform, but they don’t get to see them — thanks to rotating chairs. If a coach is impressed by the artist’s voice, he/she pushes a button to select the artist for his/her team, NBC wrote. If more than one coach is interested, the contestant chooses which team to join.
