Callan Weber traveled from his home in Wilbraham last month to Ypsilanti, Michigan, a trek of around 650 miles. The trip, though, wasn’t for a vacation or to see extended family, it was for another chance to compete at the U14 AAU National Track & Field Championships.
After making the trip, Weber came away with a pair of national championships and set two personal records while also placing on the podium in the long jump.
