6 teens hurt after car crashes into tree in Mass. town, report says

A group of six teenagers were injured when an SUV slammed into a tree in Mashpee early Tuesday morning, according to WCVB-TV.

The car, a Toyota RAV4, had seven people inside when it crashed into a tree at Carleton Drive and Swain Circle, the station reported, citing officials.

Mashpee police could not immediately be reached by MassLive for information about the crash.

Of the seven people inside the car, two were seriously hurt, four suffered non-life-threatening injuries and one person was unharmed, according to the station.
