An “outside gathering” in Dorchester on Wednesday night was interrupted by gunfire, sending five people to the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to police.
Boston police went to 10 Greenwood St. around 9:47 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a shooting, Sgt. Detective John Boyle, the department’s chief spokesman, told MassLive. When officers arrived, they found five people had been shot — four adults and a person under 18.
All five people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to Boyle.
