A 36-year-old Springfield man died in a crash involving three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, on Route 195 in Seekonk, according to Massachusetts State Police.
The crash happened around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday on Route 195 westbound prior to Exit 1 in Seekonk, police said in a statement. All three lanes were closed while first responders attempted to save those involved.
The driver of a 2022 Toyota Highlander, a 36-year-old man from Springfield, died due to the injuries he got in the crash, state police said. The driver of a 2022 Ford F650, a 45-year-old man from North Easton, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A 31-year-old man from Florida was the driver of a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer. He was not injured, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
All lanes reopened and the scene cleared around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
