A 34-year-old Pittsfield man is being remembered for his laugh and “happy blue eyes” after he was killed in a crash while riding his dirt bike on Saturday.
At 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, a Honda Ridgeline driven by a 53-year-old Pittsfield man near 664 West Housatonic St. struck the dirt bike, according to Wester Mass News.
Pittsfield resident John Tyska, who was driving the dirt bike, died in the crash, according to WWLP.
“He was loved beyond belief by his family and friends,” the obituary reads.
The 34-year-old’s work as a skilled tradesman “gave him great pride,” his obituary added.
“We will miss his happy blue eyes laughing,” it states.
An outdoor celebration to honor his life will be held at 12 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Onota Lake Pavilion.
