The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 3:28 a.m. on Tuesday valid for Tuesday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. for Northern Worcester and Southern Worcester as well as Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties.
The weather service says, “West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.”
