LONGMEADOW — Despite the threat of inclement weather on Saturday, the Western Massachusetts Individual Tennis Championships was postponed and rescheduled to complete the final rounds on Sunday morning.
“Pioneer Valley Interscholastic Athletic tournament director Matt Smith was put in a tough position because no one can predict the weather accurately,” Longmeadow girls tennis coach Michael Framarin said. “It was nice to have a stand-alone type of finals day. This event was great for Western Mass. high school parents and for seeing Berkshire teams in the first week.”
