2 unexploded fireworks discovered on Massachusetts beach after 4th of July

A full sweep of a Falmouth beach was done after unexploded fireworks were discovered, according to a Facebook post from the Falmouth Fire Rescue.

The commercial-grade display firework was found on a private beach on Vineyard Street by someone who then brought the firework to the main entrance of the beach. Fire officials said that the recovered firework was identified as a five-inch to six-inch shell that had been submerged in water.

After that firework was found, a full sweep was conducted of the beach area, where a second unexploded firework was spotted.
